Terrain Camo Lineup

Six terrain systems. One unmistakable Sabinal identity.

Each pattern began with a real landscape and a simple goal: break up the human outline using the shapes, shadows, and natural rhythm already present in the country.

Born in Texas

Sabinal Outdoors began with two original camouflage patterns inspired by opposite sides of the Texas landscape. Thorn came from the hard, sunbaked character of South Texas and the Hill Country: pale caliche, exposed limestone, mesquite limbs, prickly pear, dry grass, and pockets of rust-colored brush. Cypress came from the cooler, shadowed country along Texas rivers and creek bottoms, where cypress trunks, deep green foliage, dark water, and broken shafts of light create strong vertical cover.

Together, Thorn and Cypress established the foundation for the entire lineup. The goal was never to simply copy the colors of an environment. It was to study its structure—horizontal grass, vertical timber, fractured stone, tangled brush, reeds, snow and shadow—and build a pattern that belongs there.

The Terrain Camo Systems

Every pattern is designed around a specific type of country while remaining versatile enough for neighboring terrain.

Sabinal Drift open-plains camouflage pattern

DRIFT

Inspired by wind-shaped grass, eroded soil, and the long horizontal layers of open country. Drift uses soft bands and scattered texture to interrupt the body where tall vertical patterns can stand out.

Best suited for: open plains, prairie, grasslands, rolling ranch country, and agricultural edges.

Sabinal Cypress woodland camouflage pattern

CYPRESS

Texas Original. Cypress draws from shaded river bottoms, dark water, mossy bark, and the strong vertical lines of cypress and hardwood trunks. Its layered greens and deep shadows are built to disappear into timber.

Best suited for: Texas creek corridors, bottomland hardwoods, dense forests, shaded timber, and river country.

Sabinal Talus mountain camouflage pattern

TALUS

Named for the broken rock found below steep mountain faces, Talus combines fractured granite shapes, slate shadows, muted lichen, and irregular stone edges to break up the human outline in exposed high country.

Best suited for: mountains, alpine basins, ridgelines, scree fields, rocky canyons, and high desert.

Sabinal Thorn South Texas camouflage pattern

THORN

Texas Original. Thorn is rooted in caliche soil, pale limestone, twisted mesquite, prickly pear, and the warm rust and olive tones of South Texas brush. Its branching geometry mirrors the tangled cover hunters move through.

Best suited for: South and West Texas, Hill Country, mesquite flats, thorn scrub, dry woodland, and arid terrain.

Sabinal Reed wetland camouflage pattern

REED

Reed follows the vertical rhythm of cattails, marsh grass, flooded timber, and the dark gaps between stalks. It is designed to blur the wearer among vegetation shaped by wind and water.

Best suited for: wetlands, marshes, river edges, flooded timber, waterfowl country, and tall grass near water.

Sabinal Frost winter camouflage pattern

FROST

Frost is built from pale winter timber, snow-broken branches, cold stone, and blue-gray shadow. The pattern keeps enough structure to work when a landscape is white without becoming a featureless snow print.

Best suited for: snowy timber, alpine environments, late-season hunts, frozen ground, and pale winter terrain.
